Louis Kreisberg of Madison Partners on Life Insurance Policy Purchase
At the Alternative Investing Summit, an event hosted by the Opal Financial Group, leading insurance industry figure Louis Kreisberg of Madison Strategic Partners joined fellow industry leaders to discuss a range of critical investment issues.
Mr. Kreisberg, a prominent fixture of the insurance world, discussed why pursuing alternative investments is essential to achieving returns while maintaining proper asset allocation. Specifically, he delved into how alternatives diversify a portfolio and how the global economy and current global events are affecting alternative investments.
He drew from his decades-long experience in creating new and innovative financing structures for life assets in conjunction with a number of global banks and institutional investors. Mr. Kreisberg has counted among his clients many Forbes 400 families, has been a Top of the Table member of the Million Dollar Round Table, a member of the International Forum and a member of the American Society of Pension Actuaries. He is also the Former Chairman of the Insurance Committee for Trusts and Estates magazine, among other accolades.
The event took place at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, California from December 4-6, 2011, and was well attended by leading trustees and representatives of institutions as well as money managers and consultants.

Louis was responsible for the New York office of Pacifica, overseeing a team of 150 employees and handling business development and transaction structuring initiatives.
Louis was a founding member Park Venture Advisors, where he designed and implemented bank-funded finance programs for insurance assets. Louis was managing member with primary responsibility for developing new business lines and counterparty relationships as well as transactional negotiations and implementation. Louis also oversaw asset sourcing among an extensive broker network as well as a team of 75 employees. His accomplishments while at Park Venture Advisors include structuring one of the first annuity-based programs with Credit Suisse and leading the origination and funding of over $6 billion in life assets.
Louis led production at numerous life insurance companies, including Guardian, John Hancock, American General, US Life and New York Life, where he was Chairman of the advisory board. As an acknowledged expert in estate planning, he has counted among his clients many Forbes 400 families. The conference will take place in Las Vegas, NV on September 22.
Key topics to be introduced during the panel session are accumulation of policies, portfolio diversification and management.
